“What are you? A sub trying to be cool or do you top?”

A masquerade ball. One night. The kink party of the year. Emil is a sub with a check list of what he needs a dom to do. Rowan is a switch looking for someone else to take control. What could go wrong? What could go right?

Sofia Hard does an amazing job of writing flawed, complex characters. She does not disappoint with Rowan and Emil. For the first 40%, I wanted to shake Rowan and ask what he was doing. Then I wanted to shake Emil and tell him to get his head out of his butt. The author really makes these two work for their HEA, but it is worth it! The fall is hard but oh so sweet.

Tropes/vibes:

• MM
• Kink
• Golden retriever / black cat
• Sassy sub / goofball dom
• Discovering yourself in kink
• Masquerade ball

This is a kinky Halloween MM romcom. I am reading this as an ARC (advance reader copy). I have read all of Hard’s other books as ARCs and have enjoyed them immensely.
