Sixth (and last) book in Mae’s Hellhounds of Paradise Falls series. I thoroughly enjoyed the first five books in this series (and all of Mae’s other books in this universe). We have been seeing Sheriff Paul and Jude’s teasing relationship bloom through the first five books and we are finally getting to see them come together now. This books follows Paul and Jude as Paul learns about afterlifers and the Smith family while they search for a serial killer. I enjoyed the first 85% of the book, but the end felt rushed. I wanted a bit more to wrap up this series. We did get a hint that there may be a spin off featuring Thea. I hope Mae continues this universe in other series.
